Bloomington, IL, June 10, 2022– Frequency Martial Arts, LLC has been encouraging police officers to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2015.   With the recent altercation between a McLean County Sheriff’s Deputy who needed assistance from a good samaritan, now is a good time to remind officers the importance of training from hire to retire during a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu For Law Enforcement Seminar with Dr. Jeremy Butler.

Jeremy is a control tactics instructor, former police officer, professor, and researcher on physical and mental performance training for police use of force encounters. He is a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu purple belt under 6th Degree Black Belt, Robson Moura and holds instructor ranks in other styles of martial arts.

Participants will learn the basic control positions most applicable to law enforcement and how to build their jiu-jitsu game from a law enforcement context based on content covered in Dr. Jeremy Butler’s book, Stop Resisting.

Space is limited to the first 40 individuals and Dr. Butler will have copies of his book available.
