Q: What is you class schedule and how often can I train?

A: We recommend training a minimum of twice per week to maintain the knowledge and understanding of the movements, but you are free to train as often as you would like each week; as long as your uniform is clean and dry.  Here is our schedule 

Q:  Do I need any prior experience?

A: Absolutely not.  Regardless of the task, people don’t become good at something unless they work at it and to be great, you simply put in more time; whether it’s carpentry, playing a musical instrument, basketball or jiu jitsu.  Just come to class with an open mind and put your best effort forward on the mats.

Q: Do I need to be in shape before I join?

A: Nope.  Training jiu jitsu not only helps you understand how your body moves, but in doing the movements and training on a consistent basis; you’ll get in better shape.

Q: Do I have to fight or compete?

A: No.  People train jiu jitsu for many reasons and the #1 reason why people train is because they have fun.  We won’t pressure you or anyone to compete.

Q: Can I compete?

A: If you want to compete, the team and coaches will help you prepare for the tournament(s) so you can test your knowledge and skills against someone equal to your skill set, weight class and age.
